Executive Education Program: Get Stanford LEAD Certified on NovoEd
All of us at NovoEd are thrilled to announce that we are working with the Stanford Graduate School of Business to offer the Stanford LEAD Certificate: Corporate Innovation, on the NovoEd platform.
The LEAD Certificate, which stands for “Learn, Engage, Accelerate, Disrupt”, will equip executives with the strategic business tools and techniques to accelerate change and transformation in their organizations. The executive education program will be composed of 8 courses, including 3 foundation courses on finance, strategy, and critical thinking and 5 individually-selected electives, that will be completed over the course of a year. Classes will include a combination of self-paced video lectures, individual assessments, team-based projects, class-wide discussions, and ongoing peer and faculty feedback. The program will start on May 5, 2015. For more information, visit the Stanford LEAD Certificate website.
We’re developing and updating a lot of exciting new features for the platform that will contribute to the rich social and collaborative experience for students in the LEAD Certificate program. Busy professionals will be able to learn at their own pace while also working closely with peers, faculty, and coaches on team projects and discussions. They will immediately apply what they learn to real-world challenges in their own organizations and interact with a cohort of peers from around the world.
In addition, we believe the GSB is at the forefront of a broader movement by business schools and other organizations to develop engaging and rigorous online executive education programs. We are working with several partners to launch additional programs on NovoEd later this year. Amin Saberi, our CEO, said in an interview with Bloomberg BusinessWeek that, “We expect that programs like this are going to grow.”
